Film-Tech is proud to offer Scanning Services for your 35mm, 16mm, and 8mm films.

Prices start as low as $0.10 per foot.

 

ALL SCANNING OPTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

*Professional ultrasonic cleaning with perchloroethylene.

*HDR (High Dynamic Range) scanning.

*Output up to 2 different file formats

*Optical sound from 35mm and optical/magnetic sound from 16mm.

*FTP delivery at no charge for finished work orders under 100GB.

*Loading of finished files to Film-Tech supplied drive. (We will quote once we know the size needed.)

*Loading of finished files to customer-supplied drive. (Must be a FT-approved USB3 drive or a bare SATA drive.)

Available Scanning Options:

*Direct "overscan" from the scanner (best one light, no cropping, perforations visible, possible splice jumps, etc) with output in 2K, 5K, or 6.5K

*Direct "cropped" from the scanner (best one light, cropped to image size, possible jumps at splices, leaders, etc) with output in 1080P, 4K, or 6.5K

*Finished scan (best one light, cropped to image size, content trimmed to file) with output in 2K, 5K, or 6.5K

 

Prices vary depending on film format, scanning options, and desired output quality.   Volume discounts are available.
